Kaghan Valley Adventure
The Kaghan Valley is a 200 km long gorge of sparsely inhabited tiny hamlets in the Mansehra district of the KPK province encompassing a scenic landscape from Gushing Kunhar river to snow topped Malika Parbat with stunning lakes and picnic spots in between. The valley is blessed with famous tourist destinations in the form of picnic spots, peaks, hiking trails, streams, lakes, glaciers, camping sites, resorts, and passes where tourists can carry out number of exciting leisure and fun activities. Some of the well-known activities one can carry out in the region are skiing, trekking, jeep safaris, camping, paragliding, biking, and day excursions. Moreover, Kaghan valley is best known for water sports including swimming, boating, rafting, and fishing. Major tourist attractions in the valley include Naran, Kaghan, Saif ul Muluk, Malika Parbat, Lalazar, Lulusar Lake, Babusar Top, Shogran, Siri, and Paye. The Naran road also serves as alternate and shorter yet scenic passage to the mountainous areas of Gilgit-Baltistan.
