Showcase of Nature – Azad Kashmir

There is much to explore while making Muzaffarabad as base and visit surrounding rich attractions in a day trip. Spend a whole day to explore Muzaffarabad city and Pir Chinasi located at 2900 m high peak to the south of Muzaffarabad where from you will have a bird’s eye view of lush green peaks and the valley itself. Part of Neelum valley can be explored in one day and the best place to visit is Upper Neelum over Keran valley. You will have vistas of Keran and part of Indian occupied Kashmir located across the river. Another day will take you to the southeastern border of Kashmir at Chakoti about 52km from Muzaffarabad located at river Jehlum. To the west of Muzaffarabad is Balakot from where the Kaghan valley runs parallel to Neelum valley. A day excursion to explore Balakot and surroundings will add beauty to your tour.
